JMK Hospitality Group – BRE have confirmed, Hampton by Hilton Dublin City Centre awarded ‘Excellent’ BREEAM In-Use sustainability certification.

The Hampton by Hilton Dublin City Centre has been awarded ‘Excellent’ on an assessment process developed by BRE, for Environmental, Social and Economic Sustainability.

Located behind Dublin’s landmark Four Courts, and spanning seven floors with 249 bright modern rooms, Hampton by Hilton features a casual dining lounge with all day menu, a 24-hour resident’s bar, and a gym.

BREEAM In-Use is an assessment and certification scheme designed to help building managers reduce and improve the sustainability performance of existing buildings. It covers the major environmental issues that affect buildings throughout their operational life and captures data across nine key sustainability categories:

Health and wellbeing, Energy, Transport, Water, Resources, Resilience, Land Use & Ecology, Pollution

The scheme is structured to drive sustainability improvements in existing buildings. It facilitates information gathering on the environmental performance and the operation of a building.

The JMK Hospitality Group currently have seven hotels in operation across UK and Ireland including the newly opened Hampton by Hilton Dublin City Centre and two hotels under construction in Cork, operated under two Marriott brands, Moxy Hotel and Residence Inn by Marriott.
