JMK Group Opens Aloft and Residence Inn by Marriott on Belfast Waterfront at Titanic Quarter

JMK Group, in partnership with Marriott International, has announced the opening of Aloft by Marriott Belfast Titanic Quarter and Residence Inn by Marriott Belfast Titanic Quarter, marking a significant dual-brand investment in one of the UK and Ireland’s fastest-growing urban districts.

Located on Belfast’s iconic waterfront, on the doorstep of the world-famous Titanic Belfast museum, the development introduces Northern Ireland’s first Aloft hotel alongside a 93-key Residence Inn extended-stay offering. The project reflects JMK Group’s continued strategy of investing in high-quality, brand-led hospitality assets in prime city locations with strong long-term fundamentals.

The Aloft hotel features 135 loft-style bedrooms, complemented by a bar and restaurant, 24/7 fitness facilities, and meeting space, targeting lifestyle and short-stay demand. The adjacent Residence Inn offers 93 studio and one-bedroom suites, providing apartment-style accommodation with fully equipped kitchens, dedicated living and working areas, and amenities tailored to extended-stay corporate and leisure guests.

The dual-brand model is designed to optimise asset performance by capturing both transient and long-stay demand, creating a diversified and resilient income profile. Extended-stay accommodation continues to benefit from longer average lengths of stay and stable occupancy, supporting consistent and sustainable returns.
