Holiday Inn Express Dublin raise money for Children’s Hospital

Holiday Inn Express Dublin City Centre has raised over €700 for Temple Street Children’s Hospital, as part of IHG’s ‘Giving for Good’ month.

The ‘Giving for Good’ month, which ran this September, is part of IHG’s wider ‘True Hospitality for Good’ programme and is committed to helping communities and charities across the country. The month is dedicated to colleagues coming together and making a positive change for society, whether that be through fundraising, volunteering or skills sharing.

Holiday Inn Express Dublin came up with the idea of selling bottled mineral water at the hotel reception, to raise money for Temple Street Children’s Hospital – a facility which cares for 142,500 sick children every year.

To get the campaign up and running, the hotel partnered with our supplier Lynas Foods and started to sell the water to guests checking out. Every team member worked hard to promote the cause to guests and from water sales alone were able to raise over €700 in September.

All proceeds donated to Temple Street Hospital will be used to support their incredible work and services.

We are a dynamic, family-run business, confident in our ability to build long-term success and capacity to assemble performance through constant perseverance and hard work.
